Building Permits are required for a variety of different uses and are reviewed by the Village Building Inspector. In order to obtain a building permit, please complete the application below and submit it to Village Hall. Fees for building permits vary depending on the type of permit required. Building Permit Application

Plumbing and electrical inspections are needed for a variety of construction and renovation projects. To ensure that your project meets all requirements, please call Village Hall at (217) 877-9445 to see if an inspection is necessary. 

Each inspection has a fee of $60 and  requires a minimum 24 hour notice given to the Village in order to be scheduled.
